The Coral Adventurer, launched in 2019, is a remarkable vessel from the Australian-owned Coral Expeditions. Designed specifically for expedition cruising, this ship offers an intimate experience with a capacity for just 120 passengers. At 93.4 metres (306 feet) in length, the Coral Adventurer can access remote and less-visited regions that larger ships cannot reach. Its shallow draught of 4.5 metres (15 feet) allows it to navigate through narrow channels and closer to the shore, providing passengers with unique and immersive experiences.
This vessel features a range of modern amenities, including six guest decks, a spacious dining area, and multiple indoor and outdoor lounges. Guests can enjoy unobstructed views of the passing landscapes from the ship’s open bridge or relax on the expansive observation deck. The Coral Adventurer is equipped with two Xplorer tender vessels, which enable guests to explore remote coastlines and islands with ease. Additionally, the ship’s fleet of kayaks and Zodiacs allow for up-close encounters with nature.
Sustainability and comfort have been thoughtfully integrated into the Coral Adventurer’s design. The ship is fitted with stabilisers to ensure a smooth journey and is powered by state-of-the-art engines that minimise emissions. Accommodations range from well-appointed staterooms to spacious suites, all offering large windows or portholes for natural light and stunning views. The onboard experience is further enhanced by a team of expert guides and lecturers who provide insights into the regions explored during each cruise.
Exclusive Access to Remote Destinations: The Coral Adventurer has been designed to reach remote and inaccessible regions. With its shallow draught and small size, it navigates through narrow waterways and visits places that larger ships cannot, offering guests unique experiences that are off the beaten path.
Intimate and Personalised Experience: Carrying just 120 passengers, the Coral Adventurer offers a more intimate and personalised holiday experience. This smaller group size ensures a high crew-to-passenger ratio, allowing for attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere on board. Guests often develop a camaraderie with fellow travellers, enhancing the overall experience.
Expert-Led Expeditions: Onboard the Coral Adventurer, each cruise is enriched by a team of expert guides and lecturers. These professionals share their in-depth knowledge of the destinations, wildlife, and cultures encountered during the journey, making every expedition both educational and inspiring.
