Christened in Memphis in 2012 by Godmother Priscilla Presley with a bottle of champagne, the American Queen is the largest steamboat eve built — spanning 418 feet.
Inspired by America’s heartland and our Southern heritage, our menus showcase the varied cultural and culinary influences of our nation including Cajun and Creole cuisine.
The American Queen has every amenity to help you completely unwind — including spa services, a fitness center, a lovely library and numerous spaces conducive to just chilling.
Resort-casual attire is recommended both on the ships and ashore. For dinner, men’s clothing might include sport shirt and slacks. Jackets for men are optional, not required. Women may wear a blouse or sweater and slacks, skirts and dresses. No shorts or hats are permitted in the dining room for dinner. American Queen Voyages also recommends that you bring comfortable walking shoes, a hat, light rainwear, an umbrella and a jacket or sweater for cool temperatures.
American Queen Voyages welcomes solo travelers, and features a select number of single-occupancy staterooms available on its ships. One person occupying a double stateroom will be charged 200% of the double-occupancy rate depending on each category.
American Queen Voyages will work to cater to any dietary needs. Please tell your cruise specialist approximately two weeks prior to your cruise so that we may plan accordingly.
Complimentary basic internet access via Wi-Fi is available on all voyages.
Smoking is permitted only in designated outside areas. Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the ship and in all passenger cabins.
There are self-serve laundry facilities onboard the American Queen only. Ocean Voyager and Ocean Navigator offer laundry services to all guests for a nominal fee. Upon request, our AQV river vessels may be able to accommodate laundry services upon request if needed. Please note that clothes cannot be dry cleaned on board.
There is doctor and an infirmary for your visit to our medical professional when needed.
